Tony has been playing guitar since the age of 7 – a total of 31 years. Having a ‘natural ear’ for the guitar at an early age led him to join a number of bands playing across the South Coast as a lead guitarist and vocalist from the age of 14.
Being intrigued in different styles and techniques, Tony developed a passion for all types of guitaring styles such as blues, rock, pop, jazz, metal and classical. His skills were enhanced by 5 years of intense guitar tuition and the completion of gradings with Trinity. read more…

What instrument do you teach?
Acoustic, classical and electric guitar.
What styles do you teach?
Tony teaches blues, rock, pop, metal, jazz and classical.
Can I study Grades?
Tony has many years experience of preparing students for gradings and he specializes in the Rockschool exam board. He also has a 100% pass rate on these gradings..
What is your cancellation policy?
Tony requires a minimum of 24 hours notice if a lesson is to be cancelled. If you give less that 24 hours notice, the lesson is charged at the full amount.
What do I need?
An acoustic guitar, plectrum and tuner or electric guitar and amplifier.
I’m an absolute beginner. What guitar should I buy?
Tony can provide advice in relation to which guitar size and type would suit the student’s needs and requirements.
How do I pay?
Lesson are paid each month as one payment. Payment can be made via bank transfer, cheque or cash
